Three-quarters of European companies will provide wireless applications to their employees in the next year, finds a survey, a move likely to make greater demands of information professionals in knowledge-sharing. The IBM-sponsored survey found companies across Europe wanted wireless but had not decided which technology to use - 60 per cent believed 3G would impact on business methods by the end of 2003.
