E-learning is in crisis. Companies that invested heavily have found that expectations were not met and vendors are suffering. The success stories come from organisations that haven't expected too much, says Gary Flood.Where did e-learning go wrong? Of course, this question begs the further question of whether, in fact, the notion of e-learing - the conversion of trainiing and education on-screen or online, allowing self-paced learning outside classrooms-is in trouble.
