Method for manufacturing damping device, involves producing fabric formed as knitted fabric, and preforming fabric formed as knitted fabric in longitudinal direction of fabric into preform
The method involves producing a fabric formed as knitted fabric, and preforming the fabric formed as knitted fabric in a longitudinal direction (A) of the fabric into a preform. The preform is molded in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction, such that a damping element (1) produces a suspension travel (F) in the direction transverse to the longitudinal direction. The hardness and bias voltage of the damping element is set by a mass of the damping element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a damping device for a coupling, particularly a torque coupling; and (2) an auxiliary tool for inserting a damping device.
