The invention relates to hydropower parks set on the tail race of hydroelectric power plants and to a process for exploiting the energy source of the tail race by uniformly installing hydrogenerators. According to the invention, the park is connected to a storage reservoir (1) which ensures the operation of a hydroelectric power plant (2), where the surplus production is achieved in the tail race, by means of some drums (3), transmissions (4), electrical generators (5) impelled by the discharged water flow, without constructional changes of a dam (6) or channel (7), in a hydroelectric power plant of 15 MW, with a discharged flow of 90 m/s, 25 units/1 km of channel, generators of 300 kW, with an output of 7,5 MW/1 km of channel, at 184 km of channel in Romania.
