This description, put forward by the London Evening Standard as the 85-year-old unveiled his plans for Battersea Power Station earlier this week - certainly didn't seem to impress the man himself. In fact, Gehry was keen to show just how unlike a rock star he is, telling a throng of journalists on Monday of his careful attitude to things like staying on budget and designing a 'modest' scheme in the context of London's famous Grade Ⅱ*-listed landmark. 'I'm not what people think I am,'he said. 'I have a healthy insecurity … I'm no Jimi Hendrix and I'm not going to break any guitars.'
