The finalists for this year's AJ100 awards have been named. Assael Architecture, Hawkins Brown, HTA, Make, Robin Partington & Partners and 2012 Stirling Prize-winner Stanton Williams are all vying for the Practice of the Year honour, which is awarded on the basis of key AJ100 survey data indicating employee satisfaction, design quality and business growth. It is the only prize in architecture that recognises exemplary practice and was won last year by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris. The awards are open only to practices that make the AJ100 list, which is ranked according to the number of architects eligible practices employ in the UK. In recognition that recovery is on the way, the minimum number of architects employed by a practice to make it eligible for the list has risen to 20 this year. Elsewhere among the full shortlists for the annual AJ100 awards, practices including Reiach and Hall and PM Devereux are in the running for Fastest Growing Practice.
