The AJ has assembled some of the country's leading housing architects and developers to headline at the forthcoming More Homes Better Homes conference in July. The event is the centrepiece of the AJ's on-going campaign, which calls for a higher quality of new homes as the country races to meet massive residential demand. Among those speaking are Chris Brown of Igloo Regeneration, Martyn Evans of Cathedral Group, architect Tony Fretton, Alison Brooks of Stirling Prize-winning practice Alison Brooks Architects, Gerard Maccreanor, founder of Maccreanor Lavington Architects, and former construction minister Nick Raynsford. The event will look at new delivery models, new housing types such as the private rental sector, examine the simplified new housing standards and showcase exemplar schemes from both the UK and overseas.
