1.Repeatability coefficients of variation for the determination of six elements by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy ranged from 3.5 to 5.0% for calcium, 6.4 to 12.1% for copper, 7.4 to 20.3% for iron, 3.3 to 5.7% for potassium, 3.4 to 5.6% for magnesium, and 5.2 to 6.9% for sodium and were judged acceptable. The repeatability coefficient of variation was 31.3% for zinc and was judged unacceptable. 2.Reproducibility coefficients of variation for the determination of seven elements by inductively coupled plasma-atomic emission spectroscopy ranged from 11.3 to 18.2% for calcium, 51.3 to 68.4% for copper, 41.7 to 70.0% for iron, 8.4 to 14.3% for potassium, 4.8 to 37.3% for magnesium, 13.0 to 24.9% for sodium, and 69.9% for zinc and were judged unacceptable.
