For over 40 years the ICT, in conjunction with both national and international course providers, has recognised professional capability at introductory, intermediate and advanced levels. In addition, other organisations also provide routes to qualifications and choosing which route is best can be a little confusing. In order to lay out the course options in a clear way, the ICT - in conjunction with other organisations - has put together a document entitled Concrete Technology. The document can be used like a road map, allowing potential candidates to judge which course would be the most appropriate for them, depending on what stage they are at in their career, from newcomer to senior manager.
