摘要

I am pleased to formally introduce myself to the readers of this journal following my appointment as Editor of the Australian Journal of Maritime and Ocean Affairs. I would like to acknowledge and thank the Board of Australian Association for Maritime Affairs (AAMA) for their support. I also wish to acknowledge Andrew Forbes's work as Editor and thank him for assistance in the editorial transition. I also wish to acknowledge the work of Andrew's editorial predecessors, and the AAMA and its members for their support for the journal.
