摘要

It is a pleasure to reflect on the progress of Architectural Science Review (ASR) over the last 60 years, in particular how the journal has adapted to the changes in the needs of the readership in recent years. The early years were shaped by Professor Henry Cowan who from its inception, visioned ASR as a vehicle for disseminating knowledge on science for research, teaching and the practice of architecture. Located in the southern hemisphere, there was an interest in working with warm climates and the development of regional issues.
