The chemical components of 54 flue-cured tobacco leaf samples from 18 different counties ( cities) of Hunan were compared,and the cluster analysis was conducted.The results showed that:(1) In whole,content of nicotine was rela-tively higher,although there were differences in content of tobacco chemical components among different regions.(2) 18 counties ( cities) could be divided into four types based on the average of varieties.The first type was middle sugar-low nitrogen-middle alkaloid-middle potassium-middle chlorine area,whose tobacco leaf with relatively suitable chemical components,which could be used as the optimal raw materials of cigarette because of its excellent chemical quality.The second one was middle sugar-middle nitrogen-middle alkaloid-low potassium-high chlorine area,whose tobacco leaf with lower potassium content and higher chloride content,so this area should add potassium fertilizer,and improve the ferti-lization plan to increase potassium content to improve the quality of tobacco leaves.The third one was low sugar-high ni-trogen-high alkaloid-high potassium-low chlorine area.In this district,the combustion of tobacco leaves was better be-cause of higher ratio of potassium to chlorine,while its content of sugar was lower,but nicotine was higher,so its tobacco gas was raw and irritating was heavy.The fourth one was high sugar-middle nitrogen-low alkaloid-middle potassium-middle chlorine area.In this district,tobacco leaves had lower nicotine content and higher sugar content,so its strength was small,the smell and aroma was light,which could be provided to industrial enterprises as low nicotine content of tobacco leaves or filling material.%采集湖南省18个烤烟种植县(市)的54份烟叶样品,以其主要化学成分含量为基础数据,进行比较分析及聚类分析.结果表明:(1)虽各地区间烟叶化学成分含量存在差异,但总体烟碱含量偏高.(2)基于品种平均值可以将18个县(市) 分为4类.第一类为中糖低氮中碱中钾中氯区,各化学成分含量比较适宜,化学性质优良,可以作为卷烟原料的最优选择;第二类属于中糖中氮中碱低钾高氯区,钾含量偏低而氯含量偏高,此类烟叶燃烧性较差,应考虑改善施肥方案,增施钾肥,提高烟叶钾含量从而提高烟叶品质;第三类属于低糖高氮高碱高钾低氯区,钾氯比值高燃烧性较好,但糖含量低烟碱含量高,烟气粗糙,刺激性略大;第四类为高糖中氮低碱中钾中氯区,此类烟叶烟碱含量低,糖含量高,劲头小,烟气偏淡,香气平淡,可作为工业企业低烟碱含量烟叶或填充料的原料使用.
