摘要

The paper is devoted to a particular algorithm of the Earth image edges determination with respoect to creating of the visible range static Earth Horizon Sensor. The possibility of designing the Earth Sensor using given algorithm which has an accuracy of 6 arcmin is confirmed on the basis of computer simulation results. The paper contributes to the progress of attitude sesnors and relates to: spececraft attitude determination and control; high precision pointing control systems; engineering technology in on-board processing, etc.
